Good evening,
I am not an expert in the field, but one thing I am sure of is that the cables you see are simply the antennas of the Wi-Fi card. So at worst, the reception is poor. The connection of these antennas is based on "coaxial connectors," so it is possible to carefully remove the part that is left on the card, pass the cable back through its original slot, and put a soldering point.
In any case, that is what I would have done if I were faced with a similar situation.-

Indeed, I hadn't thought about that little detail... anyway, given the size of the thing, it’s not exactly easy to do something neat from the start.
- With a very fine-tipped soldering iron, a binocular magnifier, dexterity, and no signs of trembling, one should be able to solder the core of the cable onto the circuit board track and the braid onto the edge of the connector.
Also, let's see if it's feasible under the board.
But still, it's not easy.
