Is it possible to create a Gmail.fr address?

Hello,
I really hope someone can solve my problem.
I created a Gmail.com address because after finishing my studies, I wanted a strictly professional email.
However, being unemployed, I have responded to tons of job offers and sent quite a number of unsolicited applications... Not getting any responses made me start to doubt something.... And then I realized that on my CV and cover letters I wrote the correct address but instead of putting Gmail.com, I put Gmail.fr.... A completely silly mistake....
So, I would like to know if it would be possible to create this Gmail.fr address.... Which would allow me to see if I have received any responses from employers...

Gmail.fr does not exist as an extension...
And even if you had been able to create one, creating it would not have allowed you to retrieve the mail, since the address did not exist when you submitted your CVs...
Employers received an automatic email from their messaging system informing them that this email did not exist.
