Second screen slideshow

Hello,

I currently have a second screen connected via HDMI, and I want to send a slideshow (just through Windows) to the second screen, without my main screen going black.

I tried to set the second screen as the main display, but even when I do that, as soon as I start the slideshow, it displays on one screen but the second screen goes black.

I want to find a solution to continue sending the slideshow continuously and be able to work on the first screen.

    Hello, to use 2 (or more) screens at the same time, you need to switch to extended mode. In Windows, you should use the keyboard shortcut Windows+P and select "Extend" from the menu that appears.

      I am already in extended mode to use 2 screens. When I start the slideshow, one of the screens automatically goes black.

      Ah ok I see, I don't have PowerPoint on hand but in LibreOffice Impress, you need to go to "Slide Show", "Slide Show Settings" and choose "Window" in the "Type" area.
      I don't have a second screen available to test but it should work.

      I'm just using the Windows Photo Viewer, but I'll try what you suggested. In fact, I want to loop through an album of photos (objects that I sell in my business like a display), and the other screen will be the one I'm working on, so if it's black, I can't do anything.
