Acer Aspire T180 NB7Z BIOS Restore

Hello, I have an Acer Aspire T180 NB7Z and I'm having startup issues (the PC gets stuck on the Acer logo with the keys to access the BIOS at the bottom if I leave the mouse plugged in). I wanted to flash the BIOS using the tools from Acer's website. The program failed to install the BIOS and partially erased the old one. Since then, the PC gets stuck on "Verifying DMI pool data..." and cannot boot into anything, but I can still access the BIOS settings.
I searched online and found that everyone with the same PC who tried to flash the BIOS with Acer's tools has the same problem. Does anyone know if it's possible to recover my PC?

Thank you

    Hello,

try a clear-cmos, unplug the power cord and hold down the power button of the PC for 30 seconds. Then, plug the cord back in and start it normally.

Unplug all external USB peripherals and see if it boots from the hard drive.

In the BIOS, your hard drive boots in which mode > AHCI - SATA - Compatible?

I don't know, but my HDDs are in IDE.

So it's the IDE mode, there are no other options with an IDE hard drive.

In this case, I fear that your BIOS may be damaged during flashing.

Do you know if it's repairable?
