Dlink DWA-131 WiFi Key Not Working with Windows 10

Question

Hello everyone,

I have a big problem, I have a DWA 131 wifi key that I bought when I had Windows 7. A few weeks ago I installed Windows 10 and now it’s not working anymore. It is recognized but it says that Windows 10 cannot install the driver, and yet I’ve tried changing the compatibility to Windows 7 and I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it. Please help me. Thank you all very much.

Hi  Try to check on the D-Link website if a compatible Windows 10 driver exists.  -- Before asking a question: 1° Turn on your brain, your PC doesn't think for you! 2° Google is your friend, the CCM search engine is too, do a search!

Good evening,
During the installation of the drivers... it is strongly advised not to connect the concerned hardware... is that what you did?
Normally it is the installation procedure that requests the connection at the right moment.
