Hello,

for the past 2-3 days, one of my hard drives no longer appears in "This PC," nor in the disk manager. Yet when I access the BIOS, it is indeed in the list, connected to the 5th SATA port.

I haven't performed any particular operation.
I'd really like to recover it... I'm fully connected via SATA, and I haven't had a similar problem before. I'm on Windows 10
Thank you!

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 46.0.2490.71

    Hi,
Google gives a response in a few seconds for a drive that is not recognized by Windows:
    https://forum.tomsguide.fr/threads/windows-7-ne-detecte-pas-le-2e-disque-dur.30327/
=> Go to the Control Panel,
    System and Security
Click on Create and format hard disk partitions
And from there check if your hard drive is listed, then right-click and assign a letter

That said, it's unlikely for a drive that was working before.

I had a similar problem with my drive today, and it reappeared after a reboot. But... it ended badly for me (https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-32658356-pc-qui-reboot-sans-atteindre-le-bios-apres-installation-nouv-dd, so I hope you won’t have any issues afterward ;)

"Click on create and format partitions" -> the disk manager, you know. As I said, the hard drive does not appear in this manager (nor in EaseUS), but only in the BIOS.
