Local effect with separate mic and headset

Hello,

Not being very knowledgeable about audio, I have a question regarding the local effect.

Actually, I plan to soon acquire a new headset, as my G930 is a mess. I've opted for the Steelseries H wireless. But clearly, its downside is the quality offered by its built-in microphone. Therefore, I intend to get a proper microphone, the Blue Microphones Yeti Studio.

So, here comes my question!

Is it possible to have the feedback (local effect) from the Blue Yeti in my headset?

Thank you in advance for your responses.

    Hi,

I don't really understand what you mean by "local effect"; I assume it's the mic feedback in the headphones...
On Windows, it's possible to click on "listen to this device" in the audio settings. The problem is that there's a certain latency, which can be very unpleasant if it's too high.

Aside from plugging the headphones directly into the mic output (if there is one), I don't see any other viable solutions... But it would be really stupid to plug a headset of that price with a jack...

      Thank you for your response.
Indeed, it would be rather frustrating to have to plug it in with a jack, especially since I chose this one precisely to avoid being bothered by a cable, haha.. But it's good to know that such a setting exists in Windows; that reassures me quite a bit, and I thank you for the info!
