Guitar pedal and microphone setup with phantom power requirement

Hello,

I use a DPA 4099 microphone that I connect to a SR Technology amplifier, with phantom power supplied by the amplifier. So far so good.

I just bought a Line 6 DL4 pedal and want to connect it between the DPA 4099 mic and the amp. Since then, nothing comes out. Is my pedal defective or is it simply a phantom power issue that no longer passes through the pedal?

How can I use the pedal with my microphone?

    Hi Julien,

    You have a condenser microphone that isn’t being powered when you connect it to your pedal...

    You just need to insert a phantom power supply between the microphone and the pedal: https://www.thomann.de/fr/millenium_pocket_phantom.htm

    Hello Julien,

    Unfortunately, the phantom power doesn’t go through the Jack. Likewise, I doubt that the pedal can process a "micro" signal (unamplified). You would therefore need to put a preamp between the microphone and the pedal.

      Thank you for your answers.
      In fact, what I would like is to plug my microphones into the mixer of the amplifier in such a way that it provides phantom power, and to plug my delay/loop pedal into the input or output so that it works on the overall sound of the amp. But it seems like it won’t work.
      So I’m going to buy a mixer (MG10XU) that has the fx send, and from what I was told in the shop, I’ll be able to plug the pedal into it and the microphones that need phantom power into the mixer.
      It’s more expensive than a phantom power supply from Thomann but it will also serve as a medium for recording on the computer
