Hello,

I would like to replace my Geforce GTX 745 on my ASUS tower and I would like your advice to suggest me 2 or 3 graphics cards that would be superior to it!

For example, one in the 100 € range, one in the 200 € range, and one above 300 €

Thank you in advance

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 41.0

    Hi,

To advise you better, you should indicate the rest of your setup (especially the processor, RAM, power supply wattage) as well as the use you have for your PC...

    In the meantime, for about €100 you can get a R7 260X, for ~€200 a R9 280X, and for ~€300 a R9 290X or a GTX970.

    See you later =)

    Thank you for the response,

for the details of my config:

as for the power supply, I have no idea, I will probably have to open the PC.

Yes, open the side panel of your central unit and look at the sticker attached to the power supply; it's written on it. If needed, take a photo of the sticker and post it here...

Okay, but let's say my budget is €150. I imagine my power supply will be able to run all the cards in this range, right?

And with this budget (I know it's not high..), is there a graphics card that is actually better than mine?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Here is a picture of the power supply which indeed looks quite bad and also 300W..:/

Will the card you recommended still fit or is it better to change the power supply?

    Thanks again.

Power supply must be changed urgently for a 500/550 watts or even 600 w 80+ if you're getting a high-end AMD... But you need to check the available length because a large graphics card is long, very long sometimes.

Indeed, the power supply needs to be changed; it's not sufficient at all. A good 500W power supply certified 80+ will be more than enough for the R7 370 that I recommend.

The Sapphire R7 370 Nitro 4GB is not very long (21.2 cm), but as Djo says, it's better to check that you have enough space in your case to install it. To do this, measure the distance between the graphics card slot at the back of your case and the hard drive cage.

Thank you both, on the Rue du Commerce website where you linked me the graphics card, there are quite a few power supplies with these criteria (500/550W, 80+)

Which one do you recommend without spending too much (because I had a budget of €170/€180 but I was only counting on the GPU... I hadn't planned for the power supply)

    Thanks in advance

"I imagine that my power supply will be able to run all the cards in this range? Right?"
Your PC is a "mass-market" PC, so the power supply is a no-name (i.e., unbranded, non-certified) power supply, so if it's also a 300W power supply, for example (which actually comes with some models of your PC), that won't be enough. It's better to take a look first...

    For €150, I would recommend this R7 370 4GB:
    http://www.rueducommerce.fr/Composants/Carte-Graphique/Carte-Graphique-ATI/SAPPHIRE/4942780-Radeon-R7-370-NITRO-4Go-GDDR5-DUAL-X-OC-UEFI.htm#moid:MO-092E2M55762198

It's more powerful than the GTX745, you'll notice the difference.

If your budget is not very flexible, you can get this Corsair VS450:
    https://www.cdiscount.com/informatique/alimentation-pc/alimentation-pc-corsair-450-watts-norme-atx-2/f-10775-cp9020096eu.html

    It will be sufficient.

If you can afford it, go for the 550W version:
    https://www.cdiscount.com/informatique/alimentation-pc/corsair-alimentation-pc-vs550/f-10775-cp9020097eu.html#mpos=1|cd
You'll have more headroom when you upgrade your graphics card later...
