Hello,
Hello. My husband (who passed away recently) had set up a hard drive
"Adiance 3.5 hard disk enclosure"
I was never interested in all this technology and since I didn't know what it was for, my daughter unplugged it.
I don't know if that's a good thing or not.
Could you explain to me (I'm trying to learn) what this device was used for and if it is useful to plug it back in?
Thank you very much everyone..
Have a great day and a good weekend.

Hello,
This enclosure simply needs to hold an external drive that connects to the PC with a USB cable.
We use an external drive either to store files (documents, photos, videos, ...) when there’s no more space on the internal drive of the PC, or to make a backup of the files stored on the internal drive.
If you want to check what’s on the drive, it should be enough to reconnect it (USB cable + power supply), and then use the Windows file explorer to view its contents.
