Hello,
Hello everyone!
I finally decided to install an SSD in my PC... it was about time!
To do this, I transferred my data to my NAS server, and I "cloned the disk" using Acronis from my HDD to the SSD.
Upon startup, everything worked great, I was able to boot from the SSD without any issues, but once the desktop loaded, it started blinking... I can't do anything (clicking doesn't work, the "windows" button on the keyboard doesn't work either, the mouse moves but its functionality stops there...
I don't understand why... probably a graphical issue, but when rebooting from the hard drive, the problem has disappeared...
I don't think it's a driver issue... considering everything works with the HDD... has anyone encountered this problem before?
Thank you in advance for your time and responses.
Best regards
Mike
PS: I'm on Windows 10, the SSD is a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB, the HDD is a WD Caviar Black 3TB, and the graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce 680.

Hello
Cloning from HDD to SSD is troublesome, it's to be avoided, there are often conflicts at the level of the motherboard's storage controller.
The only real solution is to reinstall Windows from scratch on the SSD, following these tips:

Good evening, I have the same problem, except that I only have my Acronis image to restore everything.
Any idea to stabilize this damn SSD, please?- Check your small partition of about 100 MB (disk management): it should be named "System Reserved" without a drive letter. I encountered this (only) problem after cloning with the Samsung utility provided where it had the letter H and was called DATA!!!.
