Hello,
I am a novice on ID and I have a template that someone kindly made for me.
Actually, the problem is the following:
the right page should be the left page and vice versa. My printer is asking for the page starting the chapter to be on an odd page, so on the left page.
How can I do that?
The template already has 250 pages.
Thank you all in advance.
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 44.0.2403.157

You can move the order of the pages in the pages window.
But you always start a book on an odd page, and page "1" is on the right.
In InDesign, if you created your document with facing pages, the first and last pages are "single" pages.-

What kind of document do you make?
A catalog with images, a newsletter, a book?
A page that starts a chapter is an odd page and must be on the right!
In this case, you can play with the layout (changing line spacing for example) or you can put a blank page just before so that the new chapter is on a "right" page (and not on the left)
In InDesign, templates are pages that can have fixed elements that are found on all pages of the document. It is possible to add template pages with other elements. To apply a different template to a page of the document, simply do a "drag-and-drop" of the template icon onto the document page in the pages palette. -

By email, it seems a bit difficult, but you can upload it for download at https://www.cjoint.com/ and then copy the link here or send it in a private message if it's confidential.
No need to attach the images and fonts, just the "indd" file. If you did it in the "CC" version, save it in the "Indesign, CS4 or later (IDML)" version, which is an option in the "save as" function. -
Hello and thank you again for your help.
Here is the requested link: http://www.cjoint.com/c/EHzhHD5PHf4
As already requested, I would like the "Bottle" page to be on an odd page and the other page to be on an even page, throughout the entire layout. It will ultimately be an illustrated book.
A thousand thanks to all of you for your help.

Well, this time it has arrived in full..
Your document is based on a template page where elements have been placed.
To activate the A-Template page, select it from the list at the bottom left; it will be the last one after a separator line.
What is on the A-Template page appears on all the pages of the document.. So, to fill your document, you will need to either delete the text from the A-Template page or place the text on another layer (not very practical in my opinion) in the document.
In the pages panel, you will see that the first page is indeed on the right (and alone)
The following ones are double pages, even if they are individual, as the layout positions them side by side for practical reasons in the layout.
You don’t need to drag 250 pages... delete them from the pages panel or from the "page" menu.. you can recreate them later as needed. -
In a booklet, you must have a multiple of 4 pages; it is mandatory. So, your booklet will have 4, 8, 12, 16 pages, etc.
If you put 16 pages, you will see that in the page palette, the 16th page will be on the left because it is an "even" page.
When printing in booklet form, it will automatically be on the left of page 1.
