Cinema Mode Player

Hello,
I usually watch all my videos on YouTube in cinema mode (medium player size). But since the player got its new transparent interface, I've been having problems with cinema mode, actually.
When I click on the associated icon, it disappears but the player itself doesn't enlarge. So I miss all the icons on the right, and the only solution left for me is to reload the page (either it does nothing, or I have exactly the same problem afterwards).

This really annoys me. Does anyone know what could help me? (by the way, I'm using Firefox.)
Also, while we're at it, if you know if I can make cinema mode the "default" mode when I go on YouTube, I’d appreciate it :)

Thanks :)

So, actually, I had the same problem (I'm on Chrome), but when I refreshed, the video was in cinema mode (I hate normal mode); it automatically switched to cinema mode. But if you want, I have an extension on Chrome that allows you to choose what mode you want to watch your videos in, even when closing tabs. The only downside is that it's on Chrome, but the extension is very useful. It lets you choose the audio you want when you play a YouTube video, you can decide whether you want to be on pause or not when playing a video, and you can even have a theater mode that's larger than cinema mode.
