Hello,

I bought a Caliber RMD574BT car radio to install in my Clio 2 Phase 2 1.5 DCI Privilège.
I am very happy with this product while my car is not moving ;)
However, my problem is that when the car radio turns on, everything works correctly until the wheels of my car start spinning; my radio cuts out, and a CAM VIDEO NO SIGNAL screen appears, which cannot be removed until the vehicle comes to a stop.
It's impossible to listen to music or anything else while driving; I want to specify that this only activates when the wheels are turning, and not when I shift gears.

Example: I get into my car, start the ignition, the radio turns on, and I can listen to music. I turn on my engine, the radio restarts, and I can still listen to music; I can shift into any gear, and nothing happens. It really only happens when I start moving forward or backward, but once stopped, everything works again.

Here are the few manipulations I've done:

-First, I tried to disable the reverse camera function in the settings, but without success.
-I disconnected a plug behind the radio that connected a bunch of little plugs for connecting a subwoofer, the reverse camera, other audio/video outputs, still nothing.
-I attempted a “reset,” but nothing else happened except the time and other settings resetting to 0.

I also noticed that in the wiring diagram for the car radio, one of the two plugs to connect indicates only 5 necessary connections on the diagram coming from the radio, while I have 7 connections coming from the Clio.

Thank you for your help.

Hello, it's completely normal; you need to connect the handbrake wire to a ground instead of the handbrake. It's illegal in France to have the screen operational while driving. N0virus

C'était exactement ça, je te remercie ;)

To get the video, connect the green wire to the car radio ground, it works.
