Hello,
I can open my Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files correctly, but when I try to use the right-click to delete or rename a file, the computer searches for 10 to 20 seconds. Thank you for your replies.

Configuration: Windows / Mozilla 11.0

Do you have CCleaner on your computer? If so, perform a full cleanup of your computer. It should just be a slow performance issue.

      Hello Loliou,
Thank you for your response. No, I'll try this maneuver, my files are safe, right?

Nn start by going to the registry and looking for errors, then clean them up but do not save as they suggest. Then go to Tools -> File search for duplicates (the boxes that should be checked are: Read-only file and system file, then click search).

      Loliou,
I installed and ran CCleaner, but the problem persists: 20 seconds to display the context menu of the first Word file. For the next 2 files: 7 seconds. It's better, but can we do even better?
      Thanks
      Vince

    Hello vince2110,

It's from Windows Explorer that you delete or rename your files.
Does it also happen with other types of files besides Microsoft Office ones (PDF, JPG,...) ?

      Hello CClaire,
Yes, you're right; in fact, it's the same for all kinds of files: pdf, shortcut, actually, as soon as I right-click.
