Hello,
As a former holder of a Canal+/CanalSat subscription, I recently purchased a TNTSAT decoder (Sagemcom, DS81 HD pack) to receive free DTT via satellite.
The seller from whom I bought this decoder assured me that there would be no problems since CanalSat and TNTSAT use the same satellite.
However, to my great surprise, nothing is working. The decoder asks me to select the type of installation (individual or frequency). I chose the individual installation, but it almost instantly switches to frequency installation, searches for channels, but nothing happens.
I also checked the signal quality on my satellite dish, but it's a complete void. Quality (0)/Signal (0).
What could be the issue? Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello
This receiver is not Canal ready. As of today, there is only one receiver that is 100% compatible with Canal, which is the Aston Simba V2.
I believe Canal has removed the Canal ready label from other brands.
After buying a SAGEM, it's not a very good choice. A couple of years ago, SAGEM was the worst brand. I’ve seen on certain forums that this hasn’t changed.
Do you still have a subscription to Canal/Canalsat?
If you are no longer subscribed to Canal, there’s no need for a Canal ready.

My problem is solved. I went to the customer service of the store where I bought this decoder, they did a search and since then it works. But why didn't it work at my place? A mystery.
Thank you for your help! See you soon.
