Hello, I'm reaching out to try to resolve an issue I'm experiencing with the installation of Windows 10. After some research on the internet, I couldn't find a problem similar to mine.
Indeed, the installation stops at 30%, and a restoration to a previous version is performed, after which my computer restarts normally under Windows 7 with the following error message: "The installation failed in the first_boot phase with an error during the SYSPREP operator."

It also happened to me with my Pavilion dv6, but I manually upgraded it and it worked! Try downloading Windows 10 again and reinstalling it. This happened to me on an old Dell when I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1, and by redownloading the file and restarting the installation, it went very smoothly.
