Hello,
Here we go again with SFR... but this time it's "scam from third-party services".... so not really SFR.. but who knows how to "BLOCK" these 81166 or 81193... I replied to various MMS-video offers with..... "STOP" then "STOP STOP".... then... sorry..."DAMN IT!!" !! well, I find myself with an SFR billing for 2 "purchases" at €4.50 each!!
Of course, SFR is not responsible.... and has no blocking solution!! What to do?? Thank you for your usual, important help for me!

  Which store? I just received my SFR bill (which states that these are purchases made from third parties...) So, I would like to BLOCK this kind of scam site since even replying STOP (which should be enough...) or even DAMN!!
  I am charged - without a second thought - by SFR!!

Hello,

I completely understand that you are upset, but how is your operator responsible for anything?

SFR is no more "responsible" for this scam than your newspaper is for a classified ad scam.

In this case:

1 - NEVER click on an unsolicited link, even to say "no".
2 - Block the possibility of SMS billing with SFR.
3 - Clearly, this 81166 is from the company 111ème avenue (https://www.societe.com/societe/111e-avenue-532512159.html which seems to specialize in this kind of scams. Contact them for a refund.
4 - Optionally contact SFR - go to a store as suggested by Louis3481 above.

I am being billed - without remorse - by SFR!!

Do you want SFR to intrusively analyze all your purchases made with your smartphone and call you in case of doubt?

It's important to understand that they act as a payment intermediary, like a bank. Your bank does not comment on the nature of your card purchases, and your phone operator does not check what you buy via SMS. Even if it’s a scam, in both cases.

  It's very kind of you to defend SFR with such passion!! But for once, I wasn't really holding them responsible...
  I'm willing to block the possibility of SMS billing with SFR.. how do I do that??

    I'm not defending SFR, I'm not even French so... :-) At my place, you can do this either through the phone customer service or directly online in your subscription area. Or in-store, I guess?
    
    On the internet, I also see that SFR has a dedicated anti-spam service, available for download on most stores (Google Play and Apple Store at least).

    I wrote a first message.... but I think it got lost!!
    Thank you, thank you.... I called the SFR/MOBILE Customer Service and a lovely and competent young person informed me and immediately registered me on an IVORY LIST (enhanced red list!) then downloaded the SFR/SECURITY app! (SFR THE BOX could take a cue from her..)
