Hello,
So here it is, I know this topic has been seen and reviewed, but my problem persists.
One day I was using Google Chrome when suddenly the page closed, and since then, I can't reopen it. So I go to the control panel and there I see Google Chrome no longer as its own logo but as software. I select it and click the "uninstall" button; the window opens asking if I'm sure I want to remove the software, I click yes, and when the loading window appears, Windows asks for permission to uninstall the program, I click yes again, and this time it redirects me back to the loading window. So far, so good, but once the bar starts loading, it stops abruptly, and a window appears again with the message "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."
I must say that I've already done some research, I have already put my PC in safe mode, I tried but it didn't work. I tried again with the SafeMSI and RevoUninstaller software with and without safe mode, always the same result, it doesn't work.
I'm not really sure what to do anymore or what to turn to. I have Windows 8, if that can help you.
Thank you in advance for your responses!

Hello Linadope, here’s how to uninstall Google Chrome, it should work.
Close all windows and all Google Chrome tabs.
Go to the Start menu > Windows + r > Control Panel.
Click on Programs and Features.
Double-click on Google Chrome. Click on Uninstall in the confirmation dialog.
To remove your user profile information, such as browser preferences, bookmarks, and history, check the box “Also delete your browsing data.” There you go ;D- SayZenFr

I can only find this regarding your problem, I don't know if it can help you :/
"Error 1723" has occurred and caused the closure of the active program window. Your PC frequently crashes with Error 1723 when you run a particular program. "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package" is displayed. Windows runs slowly and takes time to respond to mouse or keyboard commands. Your computer "freezes" regularly for a few seconds.
These Error 1723 messages can occur during the installation of a program while another AMD Catalyst-related program (e.g., AMD Catalyst Drivers) is running, at startup or shutdown of Windows, or even during the installation of the Windows operating system. Noting the time and place of the Error 1723 will serve as an indication to troubleshoot the problem.- SayZenFr
