Unable to Uninstall Google Chrome. Solved/Closed

Hello,

I would like to uninstall Google Chrome.
When I click on "uninstall Google Chrome," a window opens telling me that I need to close all windows.
The problem is that all the windows are closed. I then restarted my computer, and the problem persists.

What should I do?

Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 535.11

There is a simpler way:
- open the Windows Task Manager (keyboard shortcut: press and hold [Ctrl]+[Shift] + [Esc]
- Processes tab: locate the line Google Chrome.exe, right-click on it and apply the End Task function.

Now, Google Chrome can be uninstalled like any other program.

This tip works in Windows 7 but should also be applicable in XP.

Thank you, with Windows 8 you just need to press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and go to Task Manager, in the Processes section, in the background processes frame, and end task on Google Chrome (one or more pages may be visible) and there you go, you can uninstall it without any problem ;)

Same problem as you, except that Chrome is not present in the task manager, nor in the applications, nor in the background processes...
Yet, it is impossible to uninstall Chrome on the grounds that all windows must be closed...
Furthermore, it is impossible to open Chrome...

Small story: I downloaded malware for the first time in 4 years. It infected MSE and Google Chrome. So far so good, MSE won't launch anymore, I installed Avast, etc., but Google Chrome... Well, it couldn't care less that I tell it not to run in the background. Plus, I deleted its name from the registry, so it's impossible to remove it via Ccleaner, and manually it's impossible too since some files are "running." I tried to close the processes and quickly uninstall, but I'm not faster than my computer. I don't know what to do, I don't know what to install, any ideas?
