Connect Philips soundbar to Philips TV

Hello everyone. I've been futilely trying for 2 days to connect my Philips soundbar ]TL2160 to my Philips 4100 series TV.
The soundbar itself works since I can listen to music via Bluetooth.
I've tried ten times, but nothing works. Did I use the wrong cable (I connected the TV and the soundbar with a digital coaxial audio cable)?
Is there some operation to perform on the TV that I'm unaware of?
