Hello,
I would like to know how to connect my "selfie stick" to my Wiko Getaway phone. It does not have a remote control; I just need to plug a cable into the headphone jack. The problem is that when I open the camera and press the button on the selfie stick to take a photo, it doesn't take the picture. I can't find a solution... Does anyone have a solution for me? Thank you in advance, I hope you can help me.

I have exactly the same problem with my Lumia 735. The solution I found is the timer... so I tap on the screen to take the photo, then I get into the position I want for my selfie stick.
But I hope to find a more practical solution... for example, finding a way to manage the volume button functionality. -

Hello,
Open the camera and go to the settings. It’s probably called shutter or trigger, or volume/action button... you just need to switch that setting to photo trigger.
Best regards,

It's all simple.
Use the stick without the cable
Just set your smartphone camera to selfie mode with the timer. I recommend 5 seconds. Your device is already attached to the stick, so you have the time and space needed to take a nice selfie!
Have fun! -
Hello everyone. Regarding selfie sticks with a jack trigger, you need to check if your phone's jack output is CTIA or OMTP standard. Indeed, depending on the standard, the wiring of the jack plug is different. Moreover, there are issues with certain earphones as well. However, there are CTIA/OMTP adapters that are not very expensive (around €5 on average). Hoping that this resolves all or part of your issue. Best regards.

Hello,
This one seems to work: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=vStudio.Android.Camera360&hl=en
It allows you to use them without any issue. It has been recommended several times on forums for models that do not support setting up the button on the default camera.
Best regards, -
I still can't do it! I'm stuck on replacing the volume button with capture. However, I do manage to get the replacement, but there's no reaction from the stick.

I have exactly the same problem as you; as soon as I press the button, it activates the music but not the photo.

Hello,
on WIKO CINK PEAX 2- I have a similar problem with a "generic" remote AB Shutter 3 that paired correctly and was recognized by the Wiko as a keyboard, which is not unreasonable.
Except that nothing happens and the device does not respond to the command.
I checked the battery and the operation of the remote with other Nokia, Samsung, and Apple smartphones, and it works perfectly.
So it seems like there is a missing setting or program to account for the Bluetooth command. I contacted Wiko but haven't received a response yet. -
Hello, my problem is that my Alcatel One Touch Idol S doesn't connect to my selfie stick, and when I go into the settings, there's no "volume up button + camera button" option, and even if I download the apps you recommend, it doesn't work.

Thank you!!!
With my Wiko and by downloading "selfieshopcamera" it works!!!
You saved my life and I’m so happy with my gadget, because at this price 15€ it's great!
Good luck and happy selfie ;) -
Good evening everyone! This is my first time participating in a forum and I'm here to help desperate people like me who couldn't find a solution to make my selfie stick work! (oh rage! oh despair!)
I have a Wiko Ridge Fab 4G and in the basic photo function, I can't change the volume button's function to act as a shutter trigger! So I went looking for various apps suggested on different forums (Selfie Shop, Camera 360, Candy Camera, and many others) with no results, making me think that the stick was defective! And oh miracle, I stumbled upon SelfieShop “Art” camera and it works perfectly!
