lifespan of satellite dish

Hello,
I wanted to know, if possible, the average lifespan of a TV satellite dish.
Mine is from 2002 and I’m wondering if I should replace it entirely since I have to move it; it’s blocked by trees, hence no reception.

Without this reception issue, it still works well when there isn’t any foliage (winter, early spring).

what has a lifespan is rather the head. The dish must be cleared in the direction of the satellite.

It depends if the dish is rusty and the screws too because it's the dish that sends the signal to the receiver, which can cause poor or no reception, so it might be better to install a new one.

Before, only channel 5 of France Télévisions was "somewhat" working.
The technician explained this to me in a visual way:

Each channel has its own wave that hits a specific point of the satellite dish.
Probably the wave from channel 5 was hitting a privileged point of the satellite dish.

I think he wanted to talk about frequency, well, I didn't understand everything!

and maybe a quality (more expensive) head preferentially receives multiple frequencies.
