Hello, I usually use my earphones very regularly and leave them in the port (I'm not sure if that's related to the problem), and until now they worked fine. But recently I've had an issue where only one of the earbuds works. The other one worked for a few seconds before stopping, then it would start again and stop again. Then it stopped completely. Now the left earbud works very well, but the right one doesn't work at all, not even a crackle. I don't think it's the earphones but rather the phone. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. Thank you for helping me or sharing your suggestions to fix this problem.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Hello EME57,
This kind of problem is most likely due to the degradation of the tiny copper wires inside the casing that transmits the signal from the Jack plug (the part you connect to your phone) to the headphones. With constant handling, the cable wears out and ends up having intermittent connections. Unfortunately, with these very small devices, there isn't much that can be repaired (manufacturers prefer to replace such items rather than repair them, unlike larger devices like computers, where it's worth investigating the source of the problem). But for headphones, it costs more to locate and fix the issue than to replace them. So unless you're handy (looking for where the intermittent connection might be using a voltmeter, for example, by stripping the cable slightly), the only effective solution is the warranty or buying another pair of earbuds. In both cases, the pair is replaced and not repaired.
If the issue is with the phone, then try connecting another pair of earbuds (that definitely work properly) to your phone. If the crackling is still present, then the problem is with the phone. In that case, I suggest contacting the manufacturer for a warranty claim.
I hope this information helps you,
Best regards
