Hello everyone, Following a crash of my hard drive, I reinstalled the PS3 software, but during the installation it stops at 44% and it says: an error occurred during the installation, contact technical support (8002F14E). After reading many forums about this issue, I still don't have an answer, so I'm starting this topic hoping to find a solution to my problem. I have a fat PS3 with a Blu-ray drive that doesn't respond to the DVD I offer; when I press "eject," the drive responds by moving the lens but nothing else... I'm getting to my concern, I've read that it was possible to do the update with a faulty drive, could my problem come from the drive or should I focus on another option? Thank you in advance for your responses.

Hello,
Subject already discussed on this forum:

If you have disassembled your Blu-ray drive, make sure to check your wiring before restarting. There is a high chance that your drive is not recognized, hence this error code.

Hello, I have read this topic well and I have unplugged and plugged my player back in I don’t know how many times, hence my new question. If it’s not the player, where could the problem possibly come from?
