Mail merge and date modification in Publisher

Good evening gentlemen, I really want you to help me. I’m in a dilemma I still can’t solve despite the tips I’ve seen on the internet. I’m doing a mail merge in Publisher, but when it runs the date format changes to something like month/day/year. I’ve already changed the regional options and done a lot of other things, but it still doesn’t work. But in the database in Access where I have stored the contacts there’s no problem when I open it. Please help me.

    Hello,

    Do not change anything in Access, the date problem is the same with Word mail merge for several versions.

    If you have Publisher 2007, when you select your Date field on the page, there is a small envelope icon "Merge Field" that appears in the top left corner of the field. Click it, you will find "Date/Time Format"; choose the format you want.

    With Publisher 2013 (and probably 2010 as well but I haven’t checked), you select your Date field, and in the "Mailings" tab, click the "Format" command, "Date and Time Format" and make your choice.

    What a shame that Word didn’t make it that simple!
