We must not delude ourselves... there cannot be any consumer protection mechanisms for products coming from China (or elsewhere) as long as those countries themselves do not decide so!

For the moment, it is evidently not their primary concern... especially since these products help to "drive the economy," bringing in foreign currency...

In short, it’s up to the consumer (especially since information is circulating more and more) to "think" before clicking anywhere, on the pretext that the prices are "tempting"....

Finally, we must remember that buying counterfeit products is illegal and exposes one to many troubles.... and that most counterfeits are sold on these sites....

In Europe, protection laws are roughly harmonized. This is far from the case for other countries, especially China, which is still an emerging market.

Counterfeits would certainly not make it through customs, and it would be illusory and even illegal to buy counterfeit products.

I think we agree on all the points you've raised :)

And I believe that we are responsible for the types of products we purchase. As for me, this is my first purchase and I have only ordered accessories, not equipment with electronic components or anything else.
