Hello,

I bought 2 RAM sticks of 4GB each and the motherboard starts with the fans but that's all.
Can someone help me?
Thank you in advance.

    Hello there
    motherboard model?
    memory sticks model?
    no beeps?
    no BIOS screens?
were the sticks compatible? You didn't use DDR4 instead of DDR3 or a frequency that your motherboard doesn't support?
    are the sticks properly seated?
have you tried removing the sticks and starting the PC without them to see if you get an error message or a BIOS beep?

      Thank you for your response.
      N68C-GS4 FX.
      Kingston HX313C9FB/4.
      No beeps or BIOS screen.
I got DDR3 at a frequency that my motherboard supports.
      Yes, it is properly seated.
Oh no, I haven't done that yet.

      Your
      ASRock N68C-GS4 FX
has DDR2 and DDR3 memory slots. You tried connecting to the two yellow slots and the two black slots, but not one black and one yellow.

If you had DDR2, did you remove them before installing DDR3?

No, because I'm afraid of damaging my card if I connect to DDR2, but if you tell me it's safe, I'll do it.
