Connecting an active subwoofer with passive speakers Solved

Question

Hello,  I just got a subwoofer.  It's a Kenwood SW 305 and I have absolutely no idea how to connect it.  I have two speakers with this subwoofer, Sony SS-A502.  I don't know anything about audio at all, so I'm asking for advice to help me set it up.  I suppose I need an amplifier for the Sony speakers?  Thank you for your help.

Hi,  The subwoofer already has a built-in amplifier. At the back, there are connections for two speakers and two RCA red and white ports. This is for connecting a turntable or CD player or any other devices with that type of output connection (the amplifier's connections are inputs).  That's the one https://h30434.www3.hp.com

I'm back with a little issue. After buying an RCA/jack cable, I tested it and the subwoofer works quite well but not the speakers.

The speakers work, but after the speaker output, I don't know. Isn't there a way to check?

Hello,The Kenwood subwoofer provides an alternative for external amplifiers that do not have a pre-amplified subwoofer output; it features a high-level output located at the back of the subwoofer, identifiable by its red and black terminals.
