Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out regarding an installation issue with the driver for printing from a Konica Minolta bizhub C220 copier.
I'm unable to install this driver or get it to work.
Installation cable principle:
1 bizhub C224 copier connected to the router via RJ45
1 bizhub C220 copier connected to the router via RJ45 with a CPL plug.
The router serves as a router and all computers are on Wi-Fi with external D-LINK equipment.
All computers have Windows 7 64-bit.
From all computers, the bizhub C224 prints without any issues.
However, I cannot get the C220 to work.
The two copiers had a previous installation in other locations with a different router, so I had to reinstall the driver for the C224 to get it to work.
For the second one, I downloaded the driver
KM_UniversalDriver_pcl_v2.10.0.0_EN from the Konica website because the provided CD does not support Windows 7, and there is no way to get it to work. I try to install it as follows:
I uninstall the device by right-clicking on the image of the copier in the devices and printers window.
Then I restart and install as follows:
Devices and printers, add a printer, Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.
I wait for it to search for printers.
It doesn’t find it, so I click on the printer isn’t listed.
I search for the printer via the IP address by adding a printer via TCP/IP address.
I specify the IP address of the machine
I start the search; it tells me that it is not found on the network.
However, when I check the network layout, I can see both copiers and access the copier’s configuration via the network.
So my question is, what did I do that I shouldn't have?
And especially, what should I do to get it to work?
Thanks to those who will respond considering the long message I wrote.
Best regards,

to see if your IP addresses are compatible
or alternatively install your copier in DHCP
or the driver is not suitable > install pcl6

If your PCs have an IP address like 192.168.1.x, your C220 copier should have a similar address (x must be different for each machine)
on C220 > menu > network > view IPV4 address
