Euro Truck Simulator 2 won't launch

Good evening everyone,
I just bought the game Euro Truck Simulator 2 at a big store. So I bought it on DVD/CD-ROM. It's a limited edition. I got a bonus game inside, Scania Truck Driving Simulator.
Anyway, I installed the game using the Steam platform, which is mandatory. Both games downloaded perfectly, and Scania works very well on my PC. But ETS 2 doesn't want to launch. I've tried everything: updating the game, updating the computer, uninstalling everything, including the Steam platform, and reinstalling everything. But it still doesn't want to work.
I should mention that I installed the demo of the game to try to enter the activation key, but there are too many boxes when it asks me to activate it. In the end, my key isn't long enough to fill all the boxes.
The demo works great, I was able to test the game, and I'm very happy with it. Unfortunately, I can't play my final version.
So, if anyone knows this problem and could help me solve it, that would be amazing.

Good evening,
When you say the game won't start, could you give us a bit more detail? When you launch the game, does a window open, or does something appear on the screen? Or does nothing happen?
Have you tried launching it as an administrator? To do this:
"Right-click on the game launch icon > Run as administrator"

I bought ETS 2 a long time ago and I wanted to reinstall the game, but it tells me that it is end of life. What does that mean and why won't it install anymore?
