Hello,
I just bought a connector on eBay that allows me to connect an HDMI output to the AV output of my TV.
The problem is that the colors are not red, white, and yellow, but actually red, green, and purple! Well, I have 9 solutions to find the correct colors, but I don't have anything displaying on my TV.
Could this be due to the SCART connector?
Does the number of pins that come out matter? I have one adapter with only 5 pins and another with all the pins.
Thanks

Can't you connect your soundbar in any way other than HDMI to free it up, like with digital optical or coaxial for example?

Exactly, I tried to connect my soundbar via optical, but I keep getting crackling noises. This jack is so sensitive.

I bought the cable in a dedicated store specifically for that.
