Hello,
A lock at startup means that an internal program password has been set. This is a protection that a Mac owner intentionally puts in place to protect their Mac against theft. Obviously, here on this public forum, we will not provide assistance to bypass such protection.
Here is all the help that can be given regarding password loss:
To reset your login password from the original installation DVD, follow the instructions explained here:
https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/reset-your-mac-login-password-mh35902/mac
https://support.apple.com/fr-fr/HT202860
For Macs that were delivered without a DVD, i.e., those delivered with Mac OS 10.7 and later, follow the instructions explained here:

http://support.apple.com/kb/PH10921?viewlocale=fr_FR&locale=fr_FR

This is the only help we can provide; we cannot give assistance that could be used by malicious individuals.
