Download issue with download helper on firefox

Hello,
I just installed download helper, the problem is that the downloads don't start, there is the number of downloads indicated in parentheses next to the little arrow, but I can't find these famous downloads. And when I click on "download list" nothing appears.

    Download Helper is an add-on for Firefox.
    https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/
    If you have installed it, it is in the Add-ons section.

    PS. Regularly create a restore point! it solves quite a few problems.

      But it's not download helper that I can't find, it's the downloads that I do with download helper...

      Firefox 36 does not work with this version of DH or vice versa

      Just download the latest beta version of DH that Firefox does not officially recognize yet and everything will work again

        It works!! Thank you plab33!! And by any chance, do you know what format I should convert a movie to get the best possible quality?

      The conversion will only serve to allow you to watch the video on your preferred device... not to improve it.
      If you have a 90-minute film in FLV format that is 300 MB, you will never be able to turn it into a 3D movie (I am deliberately exaggerating).
