Hello, I installed OpenOffice on my new PC. However, in my fonts, I no longer have Century Gothic. I am a teacher and I always use this font for my students' documents. I searched the web but with no success. Could someone help me? Thank you. Yours sincerely.

Hello, as C-Claire mentioned below, I did download the Nu Century Gothic. The characters are bolder. The Century Gothic isn’t there and it’s not for lack of looking!

    Hello,

you were supposed to have Microsoft software installed on your previous computer like one of these:

And it has absolutely nothing to do with the one from DaFont, proving that anything is possible .................

The one from Dafont is the "Nu Century Gothic," nuance ;-)
The Century Gothic is usually paid, like most fonts installed with Microsoft products.

Hello, yes I did download the Nu Century Gothic. And indeed, following my research, many sites offer it but in a paid version. Thanks for your response.

On my old PC, I had OpenOffice 3 installed, and Century Gothic was offered among the various fonts. On my new PC with Windows 8, I downloaded OpenOffice 4 but Century Gothic is not offered. My question is: could I install OpenOffice 3 with Windows 8? Wouldn’t there be compatibility problems? Thank you.

According to the following page, Open Office 3 is compatible with Windows 8.
      http://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/windows/compatibility/CompatCenter/ProductDetailsViewer?Type=Software&Name=OpenOffice&ModelOrVersion=3&Vendor=Apache&Locale=&LastSearchTerm=&BreadcrumbPath=&TempOsid=Windows+8.1
You can always install it and then upgrade to 4 afterwards.
