24-pin cable does not plug into the motherboard

Solved

Hello,
I received my PC components and I assembled them, but the computer does not start. I think this is due to the 24-pin connector of the power supply (Corsair CX600M) not fully seating into the motherboard (MSI 970 Gaming). I used all my strength to try to push it in while holding the edge of the motherboard to counter the pressure, but no effect...
Please help me, I beg you :(

Hello again everyone! I had to push it in pretty hard—the cable isn’t plugged in 100%, but almost. Everything works perfectly :) Sorry for the trouble!

Even if I doubt you’ll see this message, I wanted to thank you because having the same problem as you with the same motherboard, you’ve been a great help to me =)

    Hello ;-)
The so-called "ATX 20 + 4 Pin" connector has a keying notch. A clip is supposed to clip onto the motherboard. Have you made sure the connector is oriented correctly?
    Have a good day

    Thank you for your response!
The clip is in the right direction, I can see that it can’t snap to the motherboard because of the remaining space :(

We must carefully observe both the power connector and the motherboard connector; there is probably a bent pin, and forcing it over likely didn’t help...

Yes, well, I may have overdone it a little when I said I put all my strength into it ^^
Otherwise I don’t see any twisted pins

      mmm...
That looks sensible / makes sense, if there aren’t any pins bent on the side of the motherboard, try forcing it, sometimes you shouldn’t hesitate, it’s a bit hard.
