For me, it's more than enough; it's me who is insufficient to help you except that I can tell you that the spinning blue circle is a sign of slowing down, which you had already seen yourself.

Those who can help you need to know all the circumstances. A Mac and a PC will not be treated the same way.

Hello. Do this: Click on Start / In the search bar at the bottom, type msconfig
On the Startup tab, uncheck the programs that open with Windows and that run in the background
(the drivers for your printer, for example)

Hello, I did the manipulation and I only kept
      - Microsoft operating system
      - Avast antivirus
What will be the consequences for the functioning of my computer besides a faster boot?
      What triggers these startup elements?
I'm a bit clueless, and I solved my problem without understanding why
Thank you for enlightening me @+ gege333

The consequence is a faster startup and smoother usage.
For example, the printer, when you want to use it, will take a little longer to start up. The advantage is that once you have used it, it will become inactive in the background again, which will bring your PC back to 100% operational status.

      Thank you very much,
If I understand correctly, this is a preheat for software that I rarely use, never for some, and which always take me a lot of time to start up only to return a little if I use them. One more thing: it’s probably the little icons at the bottom right of my screen. I have disabled a significant number of programs at startup in msconfig even though I had very few little icons that disappeared, what were the others for, where do they come from, will their absence not disturb future functioning?

The remaining "small icons" are the programs that are active, such as your antivirus, the graphics card control panel, and the sound card control panel. Do not touch or remove them at startup! The icons that are now absent are the programs you have removed from the Windows startup, which should have the effect of making your PC run smoother... right?

Hello. When "it spins" like that, it's an activity due to certain programs, updates as well, but it's always temporary, just check if it doesn't last too long. Monitor it. Regards

      Hello gironsul
If it's been running constantly for several days, I restored it several days back, but it doesn't change anything.

In the task manager, do you have unusual activity from an item (process)?
