Hello everyone,
I wanted to resell a train ticket on the site "passe ton billet". Very quickly, a buyer contacted me and, really wanting the train ticket, even offered me an extra €10 for shipping costs to ensure that I sell it to him.
We opted for a PayPal payment, and I then received an email (presumably from PayPal) informing me that this man's account had indeed been debited but that the transfer remained pending until I provided the tracking number for the package. So I went to the post office this morning to send the ticket by registered mail in order to get the tracking number.
This evening, while trying to enter the tracking number on the PayPal site, I realized that I had no pending payment. I then went to look online to see what to do, and there.. Scam, the email address of this man is flagged on many sites as a fraudulent email, and PayPal would not require a tracking number to transfer the money..
Does anyone know what to do??? Thank you very much for your responses.

What to do? Cry over your money because Paypal will only refund
transactions that only involve Ebay and Amazon.

I had the same experience with a fake Paypal, it's lost, you can't do anything;

I lost 104 euros, I informed Paypal but they can't do anything.

Neither can the bank, by the way, and no refund because you validated it.

Good evening,

Digging it up!

Why bring back an answer that was already given in 2015 (it’s 2024 now...!) to a question that was asked in 2015!
