Broken antenna cable connector

Hello,
Last night while moving my TV too quickly, I broke the part that allows the antenna cable to be inserted. I would like to know if it is possible to have it repaired, and if so, where? I would also like to know if it is possible to receive channels through another cable, for example! I know a similar post has already been made, but I didn't quite understand, and in the end, my problem wasn't resolved... I'm posting some photos to show you the extent of the damage. Thank you in advance for your help :)

Hello,

yes, it is perfectly possible to repair it or have it repaired. The female socket that is soldered onto your TV's circuit board needs to be replaced. Any handyman (if they are an electronics handyman - equipped with a soldering iron) can do it for you; computer repair shops can normally offer this service as well. The price of the female socket to be soldered (normally 4 points - core - ground - 2 fixing hooks to solder) costs around €2, and there are 4 solder joints to be made (maybe 6, the repairer will tell you).

Best regards

You're welcome,

when you go see a pro, it would be nice to get back to us to let us know the amount of the quote you will ask for (don’t forget to ask for a quote first!)... be careful, the amount requested might blow you away... get your gel ready : )

ps -> the first one who tells you that it's not repairable, send him my way! lol

Hello everyone, I also had the same problem when moving the TV to the side, so having read this post, I know who to turn to, so a big thank you for bringing up this issue and thanks to those who were able to provide an answer.
