My TV turns on by itself

Hello, you might think I'm silly for asking this, but here goes: I have a Samsung TV that's 3 years old, and I don't have Canal Sat or Canal+ so no cube, it's not connected to a box, just a regular TV with TNT. However, for the past few nights, it has been turning on by itself at different times, the remote is in a drawer, and since it's in our bedroom, it's strange to see the TV turn on by itself. What should I do? Please don't mention anything paranormal; I don't believe in that. I'm waiting for your responses, by the way, I don't smoke or do drugs.

there are universal remotes that work with all types of devices, and there are also apps available on mobile phones to control a TV remotely.
It could come from someone in your family wanting to have fun or simply from a neighbor who wishes to use it for their own TV.
Try unplugging your TV when you’re not using it :)

Hello, I forgot to mention that it turns on by itself and it turns off by itself as well. How can a neighbor use it for their own television, and someone from my family? There are only the two of us in the house.
