Hello,
I have an Excel 2007 chart that I would like to modify slightly. I will try to be clear.
The values of the horizontal axis labels are quite long (30 characters).
So how can I make them display not vertically, but diagonally?
That would be more readable.
Thank you in advance
Configuration: Windows 7 PC

Hello
right-click on the label
"format data labels
"alignment" and rotation via the value "custom angle"
same principle for the axis labels ("format axis")

To err is human, to persist is diabolical

I had therefore expressed myself clearly.
Except that it was actually the formatting of the axis that needed to be reconfigured.
I encountered a small difficulty: the custom angle box was grayed out. But the reason was that the text orientation was rotated 270°. By selecting "horizontal," I was able to customize the writing angle.
Thank you, Vaucluse, and have a great weekend.
