Data tags disappear after TCD update

Hello,

I have a standard pivot chart with data labels above my columns to display the quantity (so the numbers above the columns).

However, when I refresh my chart, apply a filter (with or without a segment), or do anything else, I lose one out of every two data labels (or sometimes all the labels) and it's random.

I put them back, and they disappear again... So it really seems to be a display issue or an option selection problem somewhere... Does anyone have a solution to ensure that the data above the columns displays and stays there?

I am using Excel 2013.

Thanks in advance for your help! :o)

Good evening

I can't replicate your issue. With or without a segment, after refreshing, I'm not having any problems

We would need an extract of your current file, of course anonymizing all the data labels to help you investigate
Use cjoint.com, create the link, and then paste it here

Hello,

First of all, thank you for your quick response!

So here is the link on cjoint https://www.cjoint.com/c/EADqcJJTT8N

Actually, I realize that the problem occurs when I want to Expand or Collapse a group (through the Pivot Table Tools Analyze menu). When I put back the labels on the two types of columns (budgeted hours and actual hours), it only takes expanding or collapsing to lose one of the two groups of labels...

Thank you!

Good evening

In the transmitted file, there is indeed only a series of labels; I click on the + button of the chart, disable and re-enable the data labels to display on both series. No matter how hard I try, by changing the data, the filters, the labels do not move.
There are no filters on the labels or values and I can't find any option that could disrupt this display... In short, I still can't reproduce the problem
However, I don't understand the action you described: Expand / Collapse of the Pivot Table Analysis tool is a menu from the 2010 version that is no longer called that in 2013, which is anyway inactive.
Maybe another idea will come to mind
Sorry
