The Badoo site is charging me money.

Hello,

I am sending you this message today hoping to get your help.

I just noticed TODAY, JANUARY 25, 2015, that the website BADOO has been charging me 8.49 euros per month for at least 6 months (but probably much longer --> I don’t have access to my bank history online beyond 6 months).

I opened a BADOO account 2 or 3 years ago ... I subscribed to a service for 1 or 2 months. I then canceled the subscription ...
I HAVEN'T LOGGED INTO THIS SITE FOR 2 OR 3 YEARS ...

---> How do I get them to stop taking 8.49 euros / month from my account?
---> ... after that, I would like to get a refund but for now, I WANT THEM TO STOP!

How can I reach them?

Hello

Just because you are no longer using a site doesn't mean the contract stops.
The contract stops when you have NOTIFIED them of your intention to cancel.
If this hasn’t been done, the contract continues; see the site’s general conditions for how to do this.

The refund will therefore not be due since, in all likelihood, you never cancelled the contract.

... I didn't cancel the "payment method"... you need to know that!

Hello,

When canceling your subscription, did you think about removing your payment method?

If you haven't done that, this is why they are allowed to withdraw this amount from your account.
Moreover, now that you have canceled your subscription, I suppose you can't access that account anymore?

I think he reactivated ... BADOO, IT'S A TERRIBLE LACK OF ETHICS.

But well ... I don't think I have any real proof of my cancellation left. Arrrh! There isn't an integrated messaging system on the site with a message history

  I also logged onto the site today and I have no credit, etc., and I haven't renewed any subscription for at least a year. When I looked at my bank account, I saw that they charged me €52.49, so tomorrow I will file a dispute with my bank to prevent any further issues in the future and to ensure they will not continue to charge me any amount of money. Unfortunately, I have contacted Badoo by all means, and I think that my refund will not be possible.

When I go to my BADOO account ... When I click on:

Settings / Billing settings ...

I see information that ...

1 - I am not subscribed to the "Super Powers Pack",
2 - I have not set up a payment method,
3 - I have 0 credits ...

So, I don't understand ...

I had the same issue on 02/25/2019; they charged me an amount of €52.49 even though I had unsubscribed a long time ago. You also need to delete your account and remove all types of payments by card or phone.
Uninstall the app as long as your profile is not deleted, they still have access to all your information and unfortunately, as for a refund, I might as well forget it, because they don't even respond on Facebook.
