More title 2 3 4 etc.

With Word 2007, Ch_Mika's suggestion cannot work because the ribbon is not customizable (it came with 2010).

The Heading 2, 3 styles, etc., cannot be deleted as they are natively part of Word; their display must have been disabled. This could be in a specific template or in the Normal.dotm default template if they do not appear when creating a new document.

In short, to make them reappear, click on the "Dialog Box Launcher." It’s the small icon embedded in the ribbon under the "Modify Styles" button, or use the shortcut ALT CTRL SHIFT S to display the Styles pane on the right side of the screen.
At the bottom of the pane, click on Options. In the "Select styles to display" field, choose "All styles" and check the box "New documents based on this template."

Alternatively, if you want a more selective display, still at the bottom of the Styles pane, click on the "Manage Styles" icon. In the "Recommended" tab, you should see the Heading 2, 3 styles... in gray followed by the mention "Always hidden." Select the styles you are interested in and click the Show button, checking "New documents based on this template."

You can try resetting your ribbon to its default values by going to "options", "customize the ribbon", and at the bottom right, you will see an option "customizations" and then a drop-down button "Reset". Click on "Reset all customizations".
