Hello, good evening, good morning, good night :)

So here it is... I wanted to upgrade my nice PC that has been serving me well and faithfully for a few years.

Going from my good old AMD Phenom(tm) II x2 555 at 3.2 GHz (three years ago, it was quite good... better was expensive) to a nice FX 6300.

Except that my good old motherboard Ga-ma770T-UD3 surprised me (well, I thought the chipset was enough :p) by not wanting the little new one.

So... off we go! Let's change the motherboard too.

There, the MSI 970 GAMING has seduced me (oh wow...). It's cheap and the reviews about it are more than nice.

It will be good for the processor as the site tells me here https://us.msi.com/support/mb/970_GAMING.html#support-test

Okay, okay... But what about my good old graphics card?

Because there... I'm already over my budget, I can't afford another nice surprise...

It's a faithful GTX 560.

How can I know if it will be compatible? Knowing that there is quite a bit of age separating all this, I'm a little worried.

Can you enlighten me, reassure me, give me your pennies?
(yeah, the last part... forget it)

There you go, there you go

Looking forward to it :)

Configuration: Linux / Firefox 34.0

Got it :)

I wanted to buy quality for the food... still really important. Happy that it's paying off :)

Well then... just need to grab that damn motherboard! The stocks at LDLC are out. (I guess it's popular)... And their option to pay in 3 installments was quite appealing...

Um, hmm...

:)
