WORD - Header and Footer!!

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how to make my header and footer not show on the first page of my Word document. Because if I go to "view" and then "header and footer," all the pages of my document have the header...

    Hello,

    For a first page, the section break is unnecessary. Especially if it’s, for example, a letterhead, it is always annoying to put a section break that prevents the text from flowing automatically onto the second page in case of addition or deletion.

    It's simple:
    File menu, Page setup, Layout tab: check "Different first page."

      for Word 2007:
      Menu "Page Layout" > small square at the bottom right of "Page Layout" when not in the footer > Layout tab > check "Different first page"
