My PS3 won't display any image and the Recovery Mode isn't working!

Hello, I've had my PS3 Slim 120GB for over 7 years.
Before this problem, I hadn't done anything wrong with my PS3, and one day, as I got up like every morning, I clicked the button to turn it on, but the result was a black screen! I can hear the sound of the PS3 starting up, but there's no picture. All my connections are properly plugged in and nothing is damaged. I've looked into this problem, but found no solution! Some people like to say that the PS3 is off because of "too much playtime," etc... which is nonsense, just to annoy those who need help. I've heard about a "Recovery Mode" technique, but even after doing the steps correctly, the screen stayed black!

Please help me, I would be very grateful. I just bought games that I haven't been able to enjoy ;( thank you.

Hello, just a question about the image: are you using an HDMI cable or the original cable?

      Hello. It's an original cable.

You tried it with an HDMI, it might come from the cable since you've had it for 7 years.

    Hello,

The original cable is an HDMI, you might want to try another one, you never know... But after 7 years there's a good chance it's out, and it's not to be a pain, it has done its time.

Good evening, you can also change your PS3 graphics card with a professional for around a hundred or fifty euros!

There you go, I hope that helps you but check it out first.

A great chance, as speed-west says, it's served its time! Move on to a new one like an Xbox or Wii, or buy another PS!
