Hello.

It's been about 4-5 months that I've been having problems with my iPhone and I don't know where to start with the repairs:
- It discharges VERY quickly even when I'm not using it.
- It turns off by itself even when it's charged, then it shows me that I need to charge the phone even though it turns off at around 50% to 40%.
- And today it only turns on when I plug it into the charger, and even when it turns on I can't send messages and the Wi-Fi doesn't work.

I've been looking for answers on forums for a long time but I can't find any, so I thought I would share this in hopes of getting a response. Thank you in advance for any replies.

    The battery is completely shot!
I think the battery is making poor contact with the motherboard :-(

Make an appointment at an Apple Store (if you still have the warranty).

I'm going to change the battery, but if the motherboard is dead, what will happen?

The motherboard doesn't cost much if you ask the repairman after changing the battery if it works! If it doesn't work, ask to change the motherboard :-D

If you change the battery, no, but I don't think the motherboard either! The job of the motherboard is to provide information to the iPhone, so I don't think so, but still ask the repairman for some info :-D
