Sound stuck in mono in my headphones

Hello.
So here's my problem, I use a USB headset/microphone that has always worked very well until yesterday. When I listen to music or play a game, I've noticed that the sound comes out of both earbuds in mono instead of just one when the sound is located only to my left, for example, in a game, which is quite inconvenient.
This started when I plugged in speakers via jack in addition to my headset, and even after removing the speakers, checking the balance, ensuring the headset is set to stereo, disabling other audio devices as the default device, updating the drivers, and changing the USB port, even after all that, the sound remains in mono.

So if someone has a solution, I'm all ears :)

Hi,

You probably need to run a multi-channel audio test again after connecting the jack speakers.

Usually, every USB headset comes with specific software from the manufacturer to modify the settings; otherwise, use the Windows audio manager.

I attempted to set it up again with the speakers connected, but nothing changed, and no software was provided with the headset.
I searched for references on the manufacturer's website, but no software is listed there, and on other forums, people with the same problem have installed Razer Surround 7.1 Virtual, but even with this software, it doesn't help.
And when I set, for example, my balance to 0 on the left and 100 on the right, the sound from the left doesn't come through, and the sound from the right is heard in both ear cups.
For your information, my headset is a Spirit of Gamer Xpert-H2.
Thank you in advance for any future responses.

Well, the stereo is working again. I simply unplugged and replugged my speakers, then set them as the default device and my headset as the default communication device.
And by doing a simple left/right test, my headset turned out to work normally again.
Probably some kind of conflict with the Realtek software? To be honest, nothing very logical, but that's computing for you... anyway, it works. Thanks for the info.

Test on another PC, if it's the same, headset is dead.
