How to download fonts on Publisher?
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello,
You don't download fonts "on publisher"... You download fonts for Windows, which will then be usable with publisher and all your other programs that use fonts.
You can download free fonts from a number of sites, I’ve listed a few here:
http://faqword.free.fr/links.php?lng=en
Once the fonts are downloaded and unzipped, you drag them into the Fonts folder in the Control Panel.

thank you !!!! clear, quick, and efficient
I found it!!!
When you are on your publisher document, click on your document in a place where you have inserted text, then in the toolbar go to "Format," then "Font," then in "Basic Features" uncheck "Show only web fonts," and there you go, it's done!
Bye!

How is it that I have fonts that I find in Word (Freestyle Script; Kristen ITC; Kunstler Script) and that are missing in Publisher?
Hello stabiloman,
I have exactly the same problem; it turns out that I only have about ten fonts in Publisher while I have dozens in Windows and Word!
Have you solved your issue?

Have you found the solution to this mystery??

Hello,
Same problem... I don't have access to all the fonts in Publisher... and the weirdest thing is that I don't have access to the "font" menu in the formatting section of my creation page
Thank you for your help

@ysa41
hello!
If you can access the format but the font button is grayed out and unclicked, it might be because you haven't clicked in a text area. Lyra explained it very well, but I made the same oversight.
Otherwise, I don't know at all, sorry..
Good luck.

Hello,
with Windows 7 and Publisher 2010, you click on the link to the right of the word font (a small square with an arrow) in the top menus.
In the opened window, you uncheck "show web fonts only."
There you go.
PS: be careful with your choice of exotic fonts; if your site reader doesn't have it on their PC, the OS will try to find a substitute, and that's when....hello page layout...
